Out at Dan and Rebecca's

We went out to Dan and Rebecca's farm on Thursday. We glazed their living room and did odd jobs around to help them unpack. It was a blast! I got some really cool pictures from all around and of course of Ruthie. Esther wouldn't hold still for very long and I ended up holding Ruth anyway, so why not get some pics?

The snakes down in the well were so pretty. They were glossy green and very clean. Some were just in arms reach so I was tempted....

I got some photos for our wall of Kayla and Joey. This one was in a field so the wind blew her hair quite a bit. I thought is looked cool.

Joey is such a little man. We won't be able to call him Joey pretty soon. We'll have to call him Joe.

He has that far away look.

Ruthie had just finished eating and being burped, so she was feeling very good.

And then she would wake up and be all smiles. I didn't get a smile picture, but this one was so cute anyway.

This is just a cool picture from around the house. Anna was good enough to pose and Kayla was good enough to move just as I took the picture.

This is a new girl that I babysit at the our neighbor's church. She is a Haitian orphan that was adopted by a Wichita family several years ago. She is so cute and smart. I was hiding several balls for her to find once and when she found them she said in a high pitched sophisticated voice. "I'm just too smart."

Obamacare...They Won

As you probably already know, Barak Obama has officially signed the healthcare bill. I just can't wait until ten or twenty years from now when the next American generation has to try to save America from going bankrupt. God knows what He's doing and I trust Him for the future, but I hope the rapture happens soon.
Here is a quote from Jonah Goldberg from National Review Online.

"
Congratulations to President Obama and the Democratic leadership. You won dirty against bipartisan opposition from both Congress and the majority of Americans. You’ve definitely polarized the country even more, and quite possibly bankrupted us, too. But hey, you won. Bubbly for everyone."

Miniature Horses

I took a trip down to the Shetland Ponies today with Justin. They all looked so cute with their winter fur on. Little furry horses. They were so glad to see us and Angel loved them too. She was a little suspicious at first, but by the end she was licking their noses and having a great time.

This is one of my favorite ones. He was so interested in the camera.

Angel loved them so much. She looked so cool looking at them above the fence.

That was a good scratching post (or should I say, fence?)
Justin enjoyed them as well.

This is the picture from last night Hannah. I thought it was pretty good, even though you said that is was bad, because of your stubby thumb.

March Photos

These are my March pictures. We got a new lawn this year so our first job was to rake up and remove all of the leaves. We have used thirty bags so far and plan to use another twenty or thirty bags tomorrow or the next day. We unloaded all of the leaves in the corner of our property so that the dogs could play in it. They had so much fun. Mom wanted me to get some spring pics for the family blog so I posted them on here. Spring is finally here and I am soooo glad!

My friend and I.

Tasha in her bed of leaves.

Angel giving me the jump as I crouch in the pile of leaves.

A lilac bud.

"Who put the clothes pin on the lilac bush?"

These are just a few of the many tulip plants that I transported from the front yard to the back last year. I am so glad they made it, because they made a lot of trouble for me. I was afraid that they wouldn't come up at all.

This is a cowgirl who just got married, on her way to clean her knew house:) Right Sarah?

My cutest student.

Spring Break

This week is spring break for all of my college classes. Yaaaaah!!!! I have never experienced spring break before, but with all of the intense homework assignments, I could really use one. Dad and I met today for one of our many father daughter talks. This is such a hard time for me right now, as I have to decide what to do after graduation. Please pray for my thoughts to be always heavenward and that I will continue to seek God's will for my future. Pray for me to except what my parents say as God's will for my life. You all are such good friends and I don't know what I would do without you. Thanks so much!
