I would like to draw your attention to an urgent prayer request that I learned about last night and some this morning. My family follows a blog of a family that are missionaries to Mexico. They have 12 kids, the oldest being 13 or 14. I have not actually met them, but they love the Lord, home school all of their kids and have a real heart for the people.
Well, Jaynee (the mom) miscarried twins several weeks ago, but the babies never delivered. She decided to wait to see if they would deliver on their own, but her body never went into labor. They went to the hospital and found out something scary. She had some major problems having to do with her uterus. She was bleeding very heavily so they had to remove it (now she will no longer be able to bear children). After the surgery she had lost 3 quarts of blood so they are giving her blood infusions every two hours. But because of the blood infusions she cannot have any pain medication (they can't mix the two). Her pain is very great and her husband said that whenever she stirred she would cry out "mucho dolor" (great pain).
I ask all you prayer warriors to pray continuously for Jaynee Lockwood. She is in a life or death situation as we speak and for 12 children to lose their mother would be awful. Pray for her pain as well (she said it was the most pain she had ever experienced). If you want to learn more details about this whole situation so that you can pray more thoroughly then go to...Lockwoods to Mexico
Thank you so much for your prayers!
